Dr. Cari Spencer, ND

Hi! I’m Dr. Cari. Professionally speaking, I’m a California State, Licensed, Naturopathic Doctor and physical therapist. I received my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 2005 from Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in North America. Prior to that, I received two Masters Degrees in physical therapy from The University of Pittsburgh. (Yes, I would have been an eternal student, had someone been willing to pay me to stay in school ;-). )

Over the years, I have found a special interest, and I might even say a passion, for the treatment of autoimmune disorders and neuroendocrine imbalances (you know – hormones, thyroid issues, neurotransmitter imbalances, etc). I also love working on healing many issues related to digestion. As a 20-year survivor of breast cancer, I think I  bring a unique perspective to my practice, seeing each person as an individual, making sure they are heard, giving them all of the information to truly get to the cause of their issue, and help them heal in the way that works best for them.

Outside of medicine, I love being outdoors with my husband, kids and our new Bernedoodle puppy, Daphne, whether it’s hiking, camping, paddle-boarding, kayaking, going to a million kids’ sporting events, or just sitting by the lake. I also truly love yoga. And, one of my biggest passions is traveling the world.

The Team

Jenny Carpenter
Jenny CarpenterOffice Manager Extraordinaire
Jenny is the beautiful face you’ll see when you walk in the door and the voice you hear when you call on the phone. She has been my right (and often times my left) hand for years. She has an amazing background working with and helping people and also has an acute interest in Naturopathic Medicine after her own health issues were cured by it.

Outside of work, Jenny spends her time with the light of her eyes, her son, and now her new husband!!! She also enjoys hiking, yoga, dancing in the kitchen, and spending time with the people she cares about the most.
